Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic the number of EventInfra-supported events in 2020/2021 is extremely low; this has resulted in very limited cashflow. Stichting EventInfra has enough reserves to survive at least the rest of 2021, but please consider donating to Stichting EventInfra wherever feasible.

EventInfra now operates AS64404 which has a Point of Presence in Nikhef, Amsterdam. With AS64404 EventInfra iso offering IP-uplink for events that can arrange connectivity to Nikhef (via ethernet circuit, DWDM, dark fibre, etc) and WiFi services for small/medium-sized events with breakout in Nikhef, offering IPv4/IPv6 connectivity for WiFi clients, including DNS/DHCP/802.1X & statistics (dashboard/Grafana), using Aruba Remote AccessPoints with IPSec.

CumulusNetworks has donated 20+ distribution switches! These switches have various 10GbE SFP+ and 40GbE QSFP interfaces, dual PSU's and are running CumulusLinux.
These switches are to be used as routing/distribution switches for the upcoming SHA2017 hacker-camp, held in Zeewolde in the beginning of August 2017.

Stichting EventInfra is born. The initial board members are Wilco Baan Hofman and Arjan Koopen; more members will be added in the upcoming months.

Booking.com has donated 34x Arista 7048T-A to EventInfra! These switches have 48x 100/1000 copper ports, 4x 10GbE SFP+ and dual PSU's. They are ideal to be used as access- or distribution-layer switches.
Upcoming event EMF 2016 will use these switches in the datenklo's for wired GigE connectivity.
